World Asian Case Competition is an annual strategy case study competition organized by the Academy of Asian Business, Seoul, South Korea. The competition requires participants to strategically analyze and study an Asian brand and present it in the form of a report which gets published in “How Asian Brands Soar” for the initial round, and in the form of a presentation pitch for the final round, conducted amongst the top 10 global finalists, out of the 500+ teams which participate every year.
The finals were held on 8th August virtually, amidst the global pandemic where the aforementioned students represented the country, with two other students. Team India placed 2nd globally in this competition, thereby lifting the Silver Cup, under the mentorship of Principal, Dr. Poonam Verma, and advisor CA. Madhu Totla, thus becoming the first Indian team to finish at the podium. They would be receiving an acknowledgment of their success in the form of a cash reward and certificates. Team Hongkong bagged the winner title in this competition.
