In the past few years, the value of CBS in terms of placements has soared and has become an integral part of the college for established as well as fresh companies to scout for talent and an attraction for management students shaping their career. Alongside the USP of the college being the rigorous entrance procedure, long working hours and unparalleled faculty; there exists a facilitator for its unprecedented placement record; the Career Development Centre.
Apart from serving as the interface between the students and the companies, we at CDC offer a host of services in the areas of placements, internships and live projects. We aide students in terms of assistance in resume building and authentication, personal counseling and support along with creating a strong alumni network. We act as catalysts for budding managers to climb the corporate ladder through reputed companies and fulfill whatever opportunities that are expected from an undergraduate B-school. The proactive members handle student grievances regarding placements and act as the face of the college for prospective recruiters. We do our level best to provide a smooth recruitment procedure for companies that visit campus and create valuable symbiotic relationships for future interactions.
The characteristics intrinsic to every CBSite- initiative, leadership, teamwork and adapting to change, are espoused by all members as well as the working of the CDC team. The best of students equipped with communication skills form the team which selected through multiple rounds of resume submissions, group discussions and rounds of interviews. The team consists of three levels- the Advisory Committee, the Core Committee and the Organizing Committee. The team is headed by the Placement Officer who spearheads the team to improve placements year after year.
